Hi, I’m Seyma, founder of SHAKTI, a beauty lover with a big passion for hair. A few years ago, I started experiencing some hair thinning, which led me down a research rabbit hole. That’s when I discovered scalp oiling, a tradition rooted in African, Indian, and Asian cultures for centuries.

Curious and inspired, I began mixing my own hair oil blend. After lots of trial and error, I created something that really worked and scalp oiling quickly became a key part of my self-care routine.

I’ve been doing this for over five years now. At some point, I started gifting the oil to friends and family and they loved it. Their feedback gave me the push to turn this into something more.

And that’s how this journey began with a little love, a lot of curiosity, and a deep belief in caring for your roots.
